Puzzle of Love

Piece 14

I want to be a hiding place
beyond, beyond your senses...
And to be your spring of pleasure,
your sceptical, opportune tamer .

Do try to escape from my dreams
because the life will move away
and
crumble
like a avalanche...

And it will be finish
only at  the arrival
of
the
end
 of
time...

True Happiness

Enjoy the gift from heaven GOD sent to us,  like Jesus promised. And be truly happy even when the world crashes on you and  there is no clear reason to feel that way!

"But the fruit of the Spirit is  love,  joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,
faithfulness, gentleness and  self-control"
(Galatians 5:22,23)

Happiness

Chickpeas, also known as garbanzo beans, make the person who eats it with a well being sensation. Interesting... A famous recipe named Hummus is from the Middle Eastern. It is easy to make and delicious to eat on the top of a slice of bread.
Just get two cans of chickpeas and drain the water. Remove the peels squeezing the peas with your hands, wash them in water and put them in a food processor together with one garlic clove, one tbs of sesame oil, the juice of one lemon, some salt and evoo (extra virgin olive oil). As much olive oil as needed to make the mix spreadable. Buono appetito!

Puzzle of Love

Piece 15

Her eyes.

Always the eyes,
precise and consize,
bold , speakable and observable.
Always questioning...

Hungry eyes of the woman
at the time of the kiss...
Closed  lids resting,
trying to see beyond the vision.

The hurry of
the fear of
the slowness of the clock.

The departure.

Eyes like fireflies,
blinking all over,
mixing past and present.

Always,
always the eyes
playing with our minds,
changing everything around
our imagination.

Always her eyes.

Eagles of  time...

Puzzle of Love

Piece 4

I feel the taste of your bitter,
naked eyes,
bathing themselves in invisible tears...

This way it is impossible.
Do not look at me this way...

Jump, dive into the world,
but do not forget,
I feel the taste of your bitter eyes.

Do not look at me this way...

Puzzle of Love

Piece 3

The time of love
I know is sense, voyage,
fight and harmony.

The woman's love...

From the soul resting
after the calm magic
softly touched by the verb (amar)...

I remember the carnival ribbon
opening itself and enchanting the air,
vibrating, twisting on its destiny, resting on the floor.

Thus
I grab this woman,
mirror of passion,
and hold her strongly,
squeezing her body into my heart.

At this time, at this hour,
I do not remember who am I.

My fury is my peace...

Windows for Communication

Last week, during my lunch time I went home and went to the mailbox to check it out. A beautiful butterfly was flying around and parked on one of the flowers I have there. I could not resist taking a picture. I thought sending that picture to my wife to share the gift of nature God gave to me. But I went back to work, got busy again and did not send the picture. Four hours later I received a message from my wife, Andrea. She was just arriving at home and the same (?) butterfly was at the same spot. Andrea sent me the picture. Amazing, it was the same picture I took.

"The singing birds, the buzzing bees, the opening flower, and the budding trees are the little windows through which God permit us to commune with Him, and to see much of his glory, majesty, and power by simply lifting the curtain and looking in. I love to think of nature as unlimited broadcasting stations, through which God speaks to us every day, every hour and every moment of our lives, if we will only tune in and remain so."

(George Washington Carver  from the book Under God by Toby Mac and Michael Tait of dc Talk with WallBuilders).

Puzzle of Love

Piece 8

Stop biting my heart,
woman with diamond nails...
Stop swallowing my voice.
Stop playing with me.
Stop licking my thoughts.
Stop trying to empty me out.

Eight o'clock clapper.

We both, paralyzed,
Listening the daring time...

Cheese Bread

If you went to some of the brazilian restaurants called "churrascaria",  you probably ate some delicious kind of bread in a ball shape called cheese bread (pao de queijo). I am giving to you the recipe to make them at home, very easily. It is true, you can google "brazilian cheese bread" and you will find it out but anyway, I tell you what do do:  first you need to buy a prepared  mix for cheese bread, based on tapioca also called mandioca also called  yucca. You may buy it on line or at the brazilian grocery store, if you live close to one.

Go for a brand name Yoki, just because I tried it and it is good. When you have the mix just add 2 eggs, less than half cup of water and 4 table spoons of grated Parmesan cheese. Mix everything until you have a consistent dough. More you mix better the result. Place small balls of the dough on a non stick tray. Preheat the oven at 400 F and bake it for 25 minutes. Buono appetito!

The most important Commandment

"...you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength"
(Mark 12:30)

Jesus makes clear the difference between these four ways: heart (feelings), soul (the eternal life inside of us), mind (thinking) and strength ( our faith and will). The complete Love making us enjoying a great relationship with the Father. It is so difficult to avoid the world and our human condition to disturb at least one of the four...but we must keep trying.

Puzzle of Love

Piece 16

Future.
It is far from here
when here becomes stronger
and call loud my name.
And grab me.
And pull me.

It is far from here
when the thinking accelerates my will
to come back.
Soon.

And the railroads inside me are announcing,
all the trains departed and returned
in
an
eternal
lapse
of
time.

It is far from here,
very far from here...

Puzzle of Love

Piece 10

Love,
the sixth sense transcending the time...

To hear the smell,
to see the taste,
to touch the sound.

From the lovers, came the expansion of the soul
and the explanation becomes complicated.
The logic disappears like a magic trick.

The time becomes an apocalypse rider
lost at the horizon of  imagination...

Quick lunch

It can be a breakfast also. Cut one Roma tomato in thin slices, some fresh  parsley and 10 to 15 leaves of fresh spinach and put all together in a fry pan with some olive oil and salt. Start frying. After 3 minutes add two eggs and a table spoon of Parmesan cheese. Scramble it. Cut the pita bread in half and put one slice of Swiss cheese in each one of the halves. Finish cooking and fill the pita bread with the scramble mix.
Buono appetito!

Three things...

" There are three things that will endure - faith, hope, and love - and the greatest of these is love" (1 Corinthians 13:13)

Just imagine the world with the absence of faith, hope and love. There will be a chaos where desperation, hate, lack of trust and  no true feelings will guide our lifes. Can you imagine yourself living in a world like that? Because of Jesus Christ these three things will endure until He comes back...

Puzzle of Love

Piece 5

If the tenderness of your delight
would remain beyond the moments
and warm my thoughts,
I would sleep in your eyes
and will not wake up.

You are for me
what you cannot imagine...

Voices we do not comprehend
Signs we cannot read
Labyrinth where we get lost
where, together, we do not want to find the exit...

A lightning illuminates the night
(in nights without moonlight)
and the silhouette of the encounter,
of the kiss without the time to finish,
softens that passion.

I want you between the sky and the ocean,
where there is no time...
Where there is no place...

How great is our God!

"Stand up and praise the Lord your God, for he lives from everlasting to everlasting! Praise his glorious name! It is far greater than we can think or say. You alone are the Lord. You made the skies and the heavens and all the stars. You made the earth and the seas and everything in them. You preserve and give life to everything, and all the angels of heaven worship you." (Nehemiah 9: 5,6)

Puzzle of Love

Piece 2

I live in a forbidden place

between the love and the passion
and
like an enigma of life,
I walk without touching the ground...
One woman is more than many;
she is an army of emotions
who, searching for uncertainties,
crash herself in illusions...
I do not know,
Sometimes I do know,
Today is here, yesterday is gone.
Between the hours, the infinite.
In the infinite, the comprehension...
there is no waiting that satisfies...
There is no fight that resolves.
At the forbidden place
I found a sweet escape:
I slept on soft breasts,
lost in untouchable dreams.

Tuna Pizza

If you like tuna sandwiches and never tried the tuna pizza, you should do it. Just buy a plain cheese pizza from anywhere you like. I am talking about a cheese pizza read to eat. Open a can of solid white albacore, drop the tuna on a plate and with a fork smash it in small chunks. Use your hand and spread the tuna on the top of the cheese pizza. On the top of the tuna drop thin slices of onion, some black olives (black Greek olives are the best choice), salt , oregano and be generous on the extra virgin olive oil ( I like better the olive oil from Spain and Portugal).
Put inside the oven to broil ( 5 minutes @ 400 F). Buono appetito!

Puzzle of Love

Piece 9

A moment.
An arduous and delightful enchantment.
A moment.
A strong sense dropped on my shoulders,
like a forgotten enigma,
an acid pleasure.
A moment gathered by chance from the shatter.
An empty moment
- lasting -
inside my being.
A moment.

Puzzle of Love

Piece 7

Distance...

I am talking about unimportant things
and somebody is listening with attention.
But,
suddenly,
I stop.
An enough makes me slow down
and runs over me.
Ridiculous.
Gastric.
Valiant.
Greedy.
Pale.
Ardent.
Over whelming feeling.
Longing (saudades)
I don't know...

Solution for everything

"Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thanks him for all he has done. If you do this, you will experience God's peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus." ( Philippians 4: 6,7)

Puzzle of Love

Piece 12

Her eyes departed and
flew away like hummingbirds in direction to my dreams...
And I dreamed like never before inside the gap of life,
suddenly, it starts frightening me.
Doesn't matter the time,
How much time, when, where, which place,
doesn't matter the place...
Who?
The heaven and the earth are together already, for a long time...
I flap my wings, making some wind,
taking a deep breath,
enjoying the Father's light
and humbling myself.

Love is the most important...
(1 CORINTHIANS 13)

Papaya Cream - Brazilian recipe

Take one small size papaya fruit, peeled and without seeds put in a mixer together with 5 scoops of vanilla ice cream and about 5 tablespoons of Nestle table cream. After blending, use individual small bowls dropping some Liquor of Cassis on top of it. It is delicious and helps digestion. Buono appetito!

Puzzle of Love - Piece 6

Piece 6

It is winter...
The morning takes a while to turn itself on
and I,
twisted on her existence,
do not let go the will
to stay at the slow desire
to live forever at her side.

At the window, the wind, the drizzle,
the grey clouds arriving and departing
and I, enchanted with her body in my arms,
her serene face expressing the sleep of the awake.

It is winter outside...

It is summer in my heart.

Puzzle of Love - Piece 1

I am going to start writing some poetry... Each one will be one piece. All together will complete the puzzle...may be...

Piece 1

Another day, another day, another day.
The days came one after another
been others like are others the words.

But there is only one thought,
only one feeling,
only one woman invading me,
making me feel lost
in the glory,
in the ecstasy
of a kiss,
profound, profane and perfumed.

Love, blessed love...

Simple pasta I made today for lunch

It was fun and fast. My wife and kids loved it!
I put some water to boil with a little salt and few drops of olive oil.
Less than 10 minutes to cook the Barilla conchiglie (medium shells), al dente.
A fry pan with some olive oil, small pieces of pancetta ( Italian bacon) and some slices of garlic.
When the bacon was kind of crispy I added the very young small early peas (Le Sueur) - with the water of the can drained. Mixed pancetta, garlic and the peas together. Red, white and green. Drained the fat. Added a half pint of Heavy Whipping Cream and waited until the mix start boiling. Took the conchiglie out of the water and dropped the mix on top of it. Buono appetito.

Love

There is no reason.
There is no exit.
The moments are eternal.
The life renews itself.
Everything becomes possible.
